Father’s Day braai that no man must miss!

The Pioneering Health Group in partnership with Pedigree Events Management is set to host a Father’s Day braai on 14 June 2024 at Kapoto restaurant in Belgravia.

The event is meant to give men a safe space to openly discuss their day-to-day issues. Some of the topics to be discussed include erectile dysfunction, what men need to know about urology, business and entrepreneurship, stress management and dealing with midlife crisis, duties, customs regulations ad men’s mental health issues.

Ms Paidamoyo Mafundaof Pedigree Events Management, who is the event organizer said they decided to bring diverse speakers including Dr K Macheka, Dr G Chatora, Mr. Arthur Marara, Dr. Simone and Mr. K. Mumanyi to cover different topics for a holistic experience no man should miss.

“We just thought if we bring these speakers and it becomes a round table more of question-and-answer people bringing in their questions that they have heard for a very long time or they don’t have the time to go and visit a specialist and ask. We would also like to raise awareness on how important it is for men to speak out on different issues. To be able to know that we rally behind men as a nation. It brings time for me to listen to each other and know what’s happening within their spaces.

“The impact of the economy, the taxes for someone who is just starting a business as a man. The need to fend for your family, the need to hold the position that you were holding before and hearing how other men are doing it. We are also not living behind the institute of marriage, how important it is,” Mafunda said.

There will be complimentary prostate cancer screening as well diabetes and blood pressure tests upon arrival at the event. Counselors and psychiatric doctors will also be available to offer free consultations.
