Crowhill gardener tries to kiss teen walking her dog

A 28-year-old gardener who allegedly tried to kiss a-17-year-old girl has been taken to court.

Sean Emitayi, 28, of Crowhill, appeared before magistrate Dennis Mangosi facing attempted indecent assault.

The State alleges that sometime in April, around 0600 hours, the teenwas walking her dog around their premise when she met Emitayi who was entering their premise.

Emitayi greeted and asked her age. She told him she was 17 years old.

He then said she was beautiful, he liked her lips and he loved her.

The teen turned down his love proposal upon which Emitayi grabbed her right hand, dragged her towards him while making kissing sounds and putting his lips.

Before he could make connect his lips with hers, the teen disengaged her hand and escaped.

The court heard that in June at around 1500 hours, Emitayi again met the complainant near the entrance to her residence. He then tried to grab and hug her.

The teen told her brother about the repeated molestation leading to a police report and the subsequent arrest of Emitayi.

He was granted US$100 and will appear on July 10 for trial.
