Allan Takudzwa Masive 34 of Hobhouse 2, Mutare appeared before the Mutare Magistrate court today facing charges of theft of a motor cycle in Mutare.
On the 14th of June, the accused desperately stole hired the complainant wto drive Mazive around Mutare in the complainant’s Honda Fit.
The court heard that Masive later asked for permission to drive the car.
When the complainant went to get his phone repaired a in Sakubva, Masive took off with car.
He was caught and arrested at Villa Sport in Dangamvura on June 24 leading to and the stolen car was recovered
Takudzwa Masive was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with two suspended.
