About 7000kgs of fertiliser disappeared from Sipepa Hall in Tsholotsho.
Police in Matabeleland North Province are investigating the case.
The theft, involving 82 bags of Compound D and 58 of Ammonium Nitrate, occurred between 30 October and 9 November 2022.
According to police: "The stolen fertilizer was part of 600 bags of Compound D fertilizer and 600 bags of Ammonium Nitrate fertilizer delivered by GMB Tsholotsho to Sipepa Community Hall for safekeeping, pending distribution to villagers," according to the
Zimbabwe Republic Police' official Twitter handle.
Police appealed to members of the public with information to contact any nearest police station.
