Zimbabwe revamps healthcare system

The Ministry of Health and Child Care has initiated a comprehensive reform of the Health Professions Act to align it with contemporary healthcare practices and constitutional principles.

Recognizing the growing importance of digital health, Zimbabwe is embracing tele-health to address the challenges of geographical disparities and accessibility. By leveraging technology, healthcare providers can now reach patients in remote areas, offering consultations, follow-ups, and basic care through virtual platforms. This innovative approach has the potential to revolutionize healthcare delivery, particularly in rural communities.
