Ivory Medical, a  healthcare innovator in Zimbabwe, officially unveiled its medical cannabis product line, CannaQure,  With a mission to redefine wellness through natural and effective treatments, Ivory Medical aims to provide high quality, cannabinoid-based options for those seeking alternatives in managing health and well being.

The launch of CannaQure shows as  an  advancement in Zimbabwe's approach to medical cannabis, focusing on offering patients a safe and regulated alternative. Ivory Medical, licensed as a GMP complementary medicine manufacturer by the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ), has meticulously designed its products to meet stringent standards, prioritizing safety, quality, and transparency.

CannaQure offers a range of CBD oils extracted from high-quality, locally grown cannabis plants. Utilizing clean Supercritical Carbon Dioxide extraction methods, Ivory Medical ensures purity and potency in each product. These oils are combined with Medium Chain Triglyceride  oil, which enhances quick absorption and provides additional health benefits, including improved cognitive function, antioxidant effects, and anti-inflammatory properties.

The product line is available in two primary forms to cater to diverse patient needs Isolate Form, for patients who seek the therapeutic benefits of CBD without any THC content and Full Spectrum Form, for those who wish to experience the "entourage effect" derived from CBD, minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and trace amounts of THC below the legal limit of 1%.

CannaQure oils are administered sublingually, which allows for rapid absorption and bypasses liver metabolism, resulting in enhanced bioavailability. This method also promotes better patient compliance, as it is easier for patients to use.

Ivory Medical recognizes that each patient is unique. CannaQure’s flexible dosing options enable healthcare providers to tailor treatments based on factors such as age, weight, and specific health needs. The absence of additives and preservatives in the product minimizes the risk of allergic reactions and toxicity, underscoring the company's commitment to patient safety.

“Our focus on education, transparency, and quality is at the core of our mission,” said Nash Kadzinga, General Manager of Ivory Medical. “We believe that with CannaQure, we can lead a new era of healthcare in Zimbabwe,  where patients have a choice and nature’s remedies enhance their wellness.”

Ivory Medical is also committed to advancing research in medical cannabis, aiming to provide the Zimbabwean community with evidence-based knowledge on the potential benefits of cannabinoid therapies. The company’s approach is comprehensive, with an emphasis on educating both the medical community and the general public on the safe and effective use of medical cannabis.

In Zimbabwe, CBD products with less than 1% THC are legal for medical use, allowing patients access to treatments that may alleviate conditions such as chronic pain, anxiety, and inflammation. However, Ivory Medical emphasizes the importance of consulting with healthcare providers knowledgeable about cannabis to ensure that it is a suitable treatment option.

Dr. Zorodzai Maroveke, a prominent figure in the company’s medical team, highlighted the importance of quality and responsibility in developing the CannaQure line: “Ivory Medical has committed to upholding the highest quality, safety, and responsibility standards. Every product within CannaQure is a testament to rigorous research, precision, and a deep understanding of patients’ needs.”

Ivory Medical’s launch of CannaQure represents a transformative step in Zimbabwe’s healthcare, providing safe and accessible medical cannabis options that could redefine patient care in the country.
