A Chipinge man has appeared in court over charges of with murdering his 47-year-old wife following a domestic dispute over birth control pills, ZBC News reports.
Felix Maphosa, 29 appeared in Court this Thursday.
The prosecutor alleged that Maphosa had an altercation with his wife over why she was taking birth control pills without his knowledge.
He then allegedly struck his wife with an iron bar three times on the head before hammering a nail in her chest.
Maphosa then left the home and went on to spend the night at a beerhall.
He was remanded in custody pending trial.
