ZIFA presidential aspirant Temba Mliswa has withdrawn his application to halt the upcoming elections, scheduled for this Saturday. Mliswa and the respondents agreed that the application was ill-timed, clearing the way for the electoral Marshall Gore, Philemon Machana, Nqobile Magwizi, Martin Kweza, Twine Phiri, and Makwinje Phiri.
The ZIFA Normalisation Committee, which assumed control after the Felton Kamambo-led board was dismissed, will oversee the electoral process.
