Police hunt for Geza

The Zimbabwe Republic Police has issued a press statement announcing that they are seeking information on the location of Blessed Geza Runesu, also known as Bombshell, for questioning.

In a statement signed by police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi, ZRP have warned that anyone found harboring or assisting the suspect to evade police questioning will be equally liable for arrest and prosecution.

According to the ZRP press statement, Geza Runesu is facing four counts of criminal charges, including:  Theft allegations as defined in Section 113 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform

Act, Chapter 9:23. The police claim that the suspect stole and disposed of three vehicles belonging to an unnamed complainant without their consent on unstated dates.

Two counts of contravening Section 33 (2) (a) (ii) of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act, Chapter 9:23, "Undermining the Authority of or Insulting the President.

One count of contravening Section 187 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act, Chapter 9:23, "Incitement to commit public violence".

This charges come after Geza, a war veteran, publicly stated that President Emmerson Mnangagwa should not extend his term in office.
