Coach Paul Chimalizeni, who joined the team mid-season, is pleased with the team's performance, highlighting their zeal to pursue the sole ticket to the PSL. "The game is not over until it is over, and the boys have the zeal to bring the trophy home, so the title race is still open. We have won 17 of our last 23 games and drawn five, so we are performing well."

Agama FC currently sits second on the NRSL table, and a win against Oden FC could see them pip N'ombeyawora to the top spot, securing their place in the PSL.

The team's successful season has been attributed to the efforts of coach Arthur Tutani, who has chaperoned five teams into the Premier Soccer League before. Tutani remains cautious, emphasizing the competitiveness of the league. "This is a very competitive league with well-resourced teams that are coached by top coaches, so it will not be easy. It's not going to be a stroll in the park."

Agama FC's squad boasts experienced players, including former Simba Bhora striker Tinashe Balakasi and ex-Dynamos winger Cleopas Kapupurika. With such a cast, pundits have installed Agama as one of the favourites for the title.
