South African police have launched a manhunt for two Zimbabwean truck drivers who allegedly disappeared with their employer’s side tipper trucks. The company, based in Witbank, is offering a R100,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen vehicles.

The suspects, identified as Tendai Luke Tarwirei Nemukuyu, 22, and Collen Mudhala 41, were last seen in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to the company, the drivers were supposed to park the trucks in the yard from Friday until Monday but instead drove off around 01:00 on Saturday, disabling the vehicles’ tracking systems shortly after leaving the premises.

The last known location of the trucks, before the trackers were deactivated, was the company yard in Witbank.

Details of the Stolen Trucks:

  • Truck 1: 2022 Scania G460, white, Reg: KY 46 YG GP
    • Trailer: Trailmax, grey, Reg: LC 99 NN GP & LC 99 NR GP
  • Truck 2: Reg: LL 03 LG GP
    • Trailer: Trailmax, blue, Reg: LL 23 RC GP & LL 23 PV GP

Authorities urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects or the stolen trucks to contact their nearest police station with the R100,000 reward available for credible leads.
