Mr Attention Claims Hot100 Zimbabwe Crown with Handinyore

 

Mr Attention has surged to the top of the Hot100 Zimbabwe chart with his hit single Handinyore, dethroning Jah Prayzah’s Ruzhowa in Week 2 of 2026. 

Early chart trends suggest the breakout track is more than a viral moment, signalling Mr Attention’s growing mainstream appeal.

Nutty O’s Too Much holds firm at number two as the closest challenger, while Jah Prayzah slips to number three. HLGM makes an impressive Top 5 debut with Mwari Aripo landing at number four, while Nashie Zim’s Kunge Redhiyo remains steady at number five.

Movement within the Top 10 was measured but notable. Enzo Ishall’s Chibatamabvi featuring Oskid drops to number six, followed by Takura’s Vendor at seven. Hulengende’s Kunge Ngirozi climbs to number eight, Atenda Chinx’s Makoti rises to nine, while Raymer’s Kapoto slips to number ten.

The most dramatic shifts occurred in the lower half of the chart. Joyful Praise Choir’s Takayedza (Jesu Anozvigona) makes a remarkable leap of 37 places to number 31, while Shayne’s Mamvemve featuring Chillmaster surges 43 spots to land at number 36. 

Minister Mahendere’s Bako Rangu climbs to number 17, Messiah moves up to 30, and Prince Chigwida’s Ndiringei Mambo rises to number 14.

Fresh entries also made their presence felt this week. Mudiwa Hood’s Love & Affection featuring Takura and Shona Prince debuts at number 37, while Celestial Chorus’ Kupenya Mugomo enters the chart at number 40.

Meanwhile, HLGM’s Mwari Aripo continues to demonstrate staying power in the Top 5, while Saintfloew’s Wicked Weekend drops to number 25 and Holy Ten’s Muganhu slips to number 34.
