The Zimbabwe Republic Police has stepped up its modernisation drive, with 27 officers graduating as certified drone pilots at a ceremony held this afternoon at the ZRP Sports Club.

The move is part of the Commissioner-General’s broader strategy to integrate technology into policing operations, including the ongoing rollout of the Electronic Traffic Management System and other tech-based crime-fighting tools.

Police say the training marks a significant milestone in embracing smart policing and enhancing operational efficiency.
