Magistrate Ms Bianca Makwande ruled that Kamambo’s trial continues and put him on his defence.

The magistrate’s led Kamambo to immediately re-engage his former lawyer Mr Admire Rubaya.

Kamambo is facing 32 count of bribery in his quest to the ZIFA presidency.

Earlier this year, in March High Court judge Justice Benjamin Chikowero, with the concurrence of Justice Pisirayi Kwenda, dismissed Kamambo’s appeal for a review of the judgment of the magistrates’ court dismissing an application for discharge at the close of the case for the prosecution.
