As most parents in Glen View North continue to find it difficult to send their children to school, the Tumelo Foundation, which is led by Witness Tumelo Zamanga, has chipped in to save the situation.

The foundation has forked out at least US$40 000 as tuition fee for the under-privileged.

The payments were made Kudzanayi, Rusvingo, Mhizha, Mhofu, Zuvarabuda, Glen Norah 7 primary schools and Kwayedza and Mhuriimwe High Schools.

Tumelo Foundation director, Zamanga said that education is the key to success and every child deserves that opportunity.

“Education is the key to success and it is important to make sure that our kids are in the classrooms. The talents they have are all discovered when they are at school and as a foundation, we will try by all means to assist every child in Glen View North constituency to go to school,” Zamanga told Zim Now.

The Foundation’s Treasurer-General, Tafadzwa Basera, said that they are supporting President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s mantra of “Leaving no one and no place behind”.

“It is important to note that His Excellency has been advocating for equal opportunities to everyone and the small we can do to support his vision as a foundation is to give children an opportunity to go to school,” Basera said.

The foundation will hand over receipts on Saturday at a ceremony which will be hosted at their head office in Highfield.
