Zimbabwe Assemblies Of God Africa leader and founder Archbishop Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti has died.
ZAOGA National Executive Chairman Apostle Joseph Guti confirmed his death on the church’s television channel, Ezekiel TV Channel.
“.... I hereby announce to us the promotion to glory of our great iconic leader Archbishop Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti ...,” he said.
Dr Guti, a veteran evangelist and pastor was born on May 5, 1923 in a small village Matema-Ngaaone-Chichichi in Chipinge at the height of missionary work in Africa.
After receiving his basic education as a boy, Dr Guti went on to study at the Bible school in America in the late 1970s
Founded on May 12, 1960; ZAOGA has assemblies worldwide under the Forward In Faith Ministries.
Dr Guti celebrated his 100th birthday in May this year at an event that was attended by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
