Three man from Masvingo District were arrested by the police on Tuesday in connection with the murder of 35-year old Francis Manhendo.
The ZRP confirmed the arrest of Lawrance Manhendo, 70, Thomas Ngindi, 36 and Tinashe Manhendo, 33.
Francis was found dead at one of the suspects’ house in Dromore Village.
In a statement on Twitter police said: “Francis Manhendo, 35, died at one of the suspects’ house in Dromore Village, Chief Kwanda, Masvingo on 08/08/23.”
Francis was struck with strobes and gum tree logs until he fell unconscious.
“The three suspects allegedly assaulted the victim with strobes and gum tree logs indiscriminately until he was unconscious.” added the police.
