US$2k reward for recovery of goods stolen at Bon Marche Chisipite

Yet-to-be identified thieves broke into a vehicle at Bon Marche Chisipite car park around 1.20pm on Sunday and stole an assortment of gadgets that include five hard drives, a camera, laptop and a cell phone.

The goods, which belong to Simon Desteward, are valued at US$12 000.

Desteward’s friend, Tawanda Dzangarabwe told Zim Now in an interview that a reward of US$2 000 is being offered for information leading to the recovery of the stolen goods.

“My friend went into Bon Marche Supermarket where he parked his vehicle for close to five minutes. On his return he found the car had been broken into. The CCTV footage at Bon Marche is not very clear. Although the car that was used by the thieves is visible, the registration plate cannot be seen,” Dzangarabwe told Zim Now.

The case was reported at Highlands Police Station under RRB 5646968.

Dzangarabwe told Zim Now that his friend left his untainted vehicle in the car park at Bon Marche’, Chisipite at around 1:20pm on Sunday.

For anyone who brings the information, Dzangarabwe added, there will be no questions asked.
