The Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Zhua Ding, has praised former Zimbabwe Warriors striker Nyasha Mushekwi for his great performance in the Chinese Super League.
Speaking at The People’s Republic of China’s 74th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China held at Celebration Centre in Harare, Ambassador Zhua Ding praised Nyasha Mushekwi for performing greatly in China.
He said the Zimbabwean representative of China-Zimbabwe brotherly relations Mr Nyasha Mushekwi, a Zimbabwean footballer has emerged as the top goal scorer in the Chinese Super Football league.
Mushekwi was named in the Team of the Month for August in the Chinese Super League.
He was impressive in August, scoring a couple of goals including a brace when Greentown beat Shanghai Port 3-4 away at SAIC Arena.
Sofascore rates Mushekwi as the third best player at his club Zhejiang after the leading top scorer Leonardo who is rated 7.37 and midfielder Franko Andrijašević who is rated 7.18 while the former Zimbabwe international is rated 7.10.
