Businessman Wicknell Chivayo promises musician Chief Hwenje US$50k for house on the heels of Toyota GD6 gift

Controversial Harare businessman, Wicknell Chivayo has promised musician Chief Hwenje US$ 50 000 for the purchase of a house.

This comes as the Intratek boss gifted Chief Hwenje, born Admire Sibanda, with a brand new Toyota Hilux GD6 Vehicle last week.

Chief Hwenje thanked Zanu PF and Sir Wicknell for the gift:

“… we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to President His Excellent Dr, ED Mnangagwa and the entire Zanu PF Family for their unwavering support of the Hwenje Music brand throughout the year.

“Once again, Sir Wicknell Chivayo, we express our deepest gratitude for your invaluable gift, it is through the kind support of individuals like you that we are able to make a significant impact and contribute to the betterment of our society. We are truly honoured and humbled by your generosity.”

Chief Hwenje’s manager, Archford Guvuriro told Zim Now that the Hwenje Music Band is happy with the development.

“We are very happy with what Mr Chivayo is doing to us, looking from where we came from and where we are today, we say thank you for the support.”

Guvuriro was the one who encouraged Chief Hwenje to work on campaign songs which brought him to where he is right now.

“I was making some noise through my Facebook page ‘Tiri Musango Hwenje’ that’s when Chief Hwenje approached me for some help to boost his music and I encouraged him to work on campaigning songs. His first campaigning song to make some noise was ED PFEEEE.”

Guvuriro said Chief Hwenje is currently living in Harare but he refused to disclose the location for security reasons.

Chivayo informed Hwenje through his X wall:

Chivayo also promised Sabhuku Vharazipi and his colleagues a sum of ten thousand each on Thursday next week for pushing the Zanu PF agenda through his Facebook page,

Chivayo enjoyed the clip where Sabhuku Vharazipi and his colleagues were praising President ED Mnangagwa and him for promoting local artist.

In the clip Sabhuku Vharazipi and Mbhuya Mai John were praising President ED Mnangagwa for gifting DJ Masomere with a car and also Chivayo for gifting Chief Hwenje with a Toyota GD6 vehicle.
