The City of Bulawayo has begun road rehabilitation and maintenance in roads leading to the new eGodini Public Transport Rank, with the overlay works already in motion to increase accessibility.
The City’s road rehabilitation works have already started on some roads with the idea of extending the works to other roads within the city.
“The City of Bulawayo is currently conducting road rehabilitation works from 6th Avenue Extension to Khami Road and on 8th Avenue Extension between Basch Street and Hebert Chitepo Street.
“The overlay works are part of efforts to improve accessibility to the eGodini Public Transport Rank,” the City posted on X.
Live with Road (Waverly Street to Mpopoma Avenue), Waverly Street (6th Ave Extension to Khami Road), Lobengula Street (1st Ave to 3rd Avenue), 2nd Avenue (Lobengula St to JNM Nkomo St) and 5th Avenue (Lobengula Street to S Parirenyatwa Street), will also see road rehabilitation works being done.
