Taxi driver found dead in a Honda Fit vehicle

A 26-year-old taxi driver, Takudzwa Shepherd Zvoushe, was on Monday found dead in a Honda Fit vehicle, which was parked along a dust road, which links Robert Mugabe highway and Harare-Bulawayo Road, in Norton.

Police confirmed the incident.

“Takudzwa Shepherd Zvoushe, 26, was found dead in a Honda Fit motor vehicle which was parked along a dust road which links Robert Mugabe Highway and Harare-Bulawayo Road, Norton on 04/03/24.

“He had a red electric cable tied around his neck,” police said.

Investigations by the police are in progress.

Meanwhile, in Matabeleland South province, police are investigating a case of a yet-to-be identified male adult who was found floating along Limpopo River near Museche Forward Police Base on Monday.

The body of the victim had two gunshot wounds on the head.

In Glen View, Harare, police are investigating a case of murder which occurred at Glen View 4 Shopping Centre on Monday in which Geodricks Mushonga, 33, was killed.

He was allegedly assaulted by six unidentified male suspects during a beer drinking spree in Southerton, Harare.

The arrest of the suspects led to the recovery of a mattock, shovel, hack-saw, a pair of pliers, screw driver, three knives and a catapult.
