Mutare Farm Prison inmate handed another 16 years over indecent assault cases

A Mutare Farm Prison inmate was handed an additional 16 years in prison following conviction of two more cases of indecent and aggravated indecency against other inmates.

The accused is a 52-year-old male inmate.

It is reported that the accused person forcefully fondled his cell mate’s buttocks some time back in November 2023, with the victim waking up to the horror of the accused trying to have sexual intercourse with him.

The other case reports that the accused person forcefully had anal sexual intercourse without the consent of the victim, which led to an aggravated indecency assault charge.

The accused was given a year’s imprisonment for the first offense of indecent assault, and a 15-year conviction for the aggravated assault case.
