A man who allegedly defrauded US$80 000 has been arraigned in court.
Praise Kadzunge, 35, appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Courts charged with fraud.
He will appear in court on April 17 for bail application.
The State alleges that on in June 2023, the complainant in this matter, Joran Molapo and Kadzunge met at Joina City in the CBD and entered into a partnership to venture into mining.
Molapo, who was based in South Africa, returned to his home country and sent Kadzunge US$80 000 for him to process the papers, but he processed fake documents.
The State alleges that after that, Kadzunge started avoiding Molapo, leading to him filing a report with the police and the subsequent arrest of Kadzunge.
