Casino Marina has banned Blessed Kazembe from its premises following a recent altercation that involved a firearm.
Kazembe got into a fight with another patron, identified as Marlon, and was overpowered. Security intervened and escorted both men out of the casino. However, Kazembe returned with a pistol, threatening security and patrons. Fearing for Marlon’s safety, security personnel allowed him to stay inside the casino.
Casina Marina human resources manager, Zvisineyi Chirimuuta said that they have banned Kazembe with immediate effect
“Casino Marina confirms that Mr. Kazembe has been banned from the premises,” Chirimuuta said.
“We are cooperating fully with the Zimbabwe Republic Police investigations and cannot comment further at this time. The safety of our employees and patrons is our top priority. We have implemented additional security measures, including dedicated armed guards on-site, to enhance safety.”
She added that the casino will not tolerate any such behaviour and will ban anyone who poses a threat to safety, regardless of their identity.
“The safety of our staff and guests is paramount,” the spokesperson said. “We take these matters very seriously and have implemented the necessary steps to ensure a secure environment for everyone.”
