A mere $5 has become the centerpiece of a tragic murder case that Has gripped the nation. Six commercial sex workers in Karoi are facing murder charges after allegedly killing a truck driver over a dispute involving the small sum of money.

 The incident unfolded when the victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, engaged the services of one of the women. Upon completion of the encounter, a disagreement arose over the agreed-upon fee of $5. The victim claimed he was unable to pay as he had lost his mobile phone during the encounter.

 The seemingly minor dispute escalated into a violent confrontation, resulting in the victim's tragic death. The sex workers are accused of attacking the truck driver with broken bottles, inflicting fatal injuries.

The accused appeared before a Karoi regional magistrate today and were remanded in custody pending further investigations.
