The stage is set for another electrifying chapter in the long-standing rivalry between Dynamos FC and Highlanders FC.

This Sunday, the two Zimbabwean giants will lock horns at Rufaro Stadium in a highly anticipated "Battle of Zimbabwe" clash.

With the second half of the Premier Soccer League season resuming this weekend, Dynamos FC is determined to avenge their first-leg defeat to Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium.

Coach Genesis Magombe is confident his team can turn the tables on their rivals.

"We understand the importance of this encounter," declared Magombe. "We lost the first leg, but this time around, we're playing at home, our fortress, Rufaro Stadium. We'll be looking to maximize our chances and secure a crucial victory."

Dynamos FC captain, Frank Makarati, echoes his coach's sentiment, radiating unwavering confidence. "The players are ready," he stated. "We urge all our fans to come out and witness a performance they won't forget."

However, the pre-match buzz is tempered by recent off-field drama.  Dynamos players went on strike for nearly four days, refusing to train due to unresolved financial grievances with management.

This incident raises questions about the team's morale and preparedness for such a crucial match.

However, Zim Now Sports understands that the players have been paid all their dues which the club owed them

Despite the off-field turmoil, Sunday's match promises to be a thrilling encounter.
