Firmino finds faith as he launches Church in Brazil

Former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has traded in his football boots for a bible, establishing a church alongside his wife Larissa Pereira in his Brazilian hometown of Maceio.

A devout Christian, Firmino has embraced his faith and reportedly felt called to become a pastor. The evangelical church reportedly fulfills a long-held desire for the footballer.

However, Firmino's new venture has sparked debate online, particularly concerning his tattoos. Some social media users hold the view that tattoos are linked to Satanism, and this association has been directed towards the former Liverpool player, who, like many footballers, has visible tattoos.
