The High Court of Zimbabwe has overturned the conviction of Gregory Graham Hall in a case involving allegations of forging his late mother’s will.

In a judgment delivered at the High Court in Harare under Case No. HCHCR6296/25, Honourable Mr Justice Kwenda and Honourable Mr Justice Foroma allowed Hall’s appeal against both conviction and sentence.

The appeal was heard by the High Court in Harare on 3 February 2026 and the court ordered that the appeal be allowed and that the appellant’s conviction be quashed.

The High Court ruling effectively sets aside Hall's previous conviction and sentencing following trial proceedings in the magistrates’ court on charges related to fraud and forgery.

This matter was previously reported by Zim Now at the charge stage. The above reflects the final outcome of the appeal proceedings.
