Innscor Africa Limited has reported a 23% rise in sales volumes for its Nyathi sorghum beer brand for the three months ending September, driven by sustained consumer demand.

“The expansion of the operation’s brewing and filling capacity is underway and is scheduled for commissioning later in the current financial year,” the company said, signalling plans to keep pace with rising demand.

The surge in Nyathi sales sets the stage for heightened competition with market leader Delta Corporation, which recently announced record-breaking daily and monthly sales of its own sorghum beer brands.

Innscor’s decision to expand production capacity reflects a clear strategy to strengthen its market position and capture a larger share of the sorghum beer segment.
