Julius Nyerere open to traffic today

Congestion at the intersection of Samora Machel and Leopold Takawira is set to be eased today as traffic can now once again flow along the newly rehabilated Julius Nyerere road, which will be opened for traffic today, Thursday May 9, at 1630hrs.

In a statement, the Transport and Infrastructural Development Ministry announced that completion ahead of schedule.

Get ready to hit the road!The newly completed section of Julius Nyerere Way from Jason Moyo intersection to Sam Nujoma Street is opening to traffic TODAY at 4:30pm!!!

The road is part of greater Harare rehabilitation works in preparation for the SADC summit in August.
