Prophet Walter Magaya, founder of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries, and his wife Tendai have had their court case postponed to 9 December. The delay followed the State’s indication that investigations are still ongoing and that some key witness statements have not yet been recorded.

While the defence agreed to the postponement, they cautioned the State that they expect to receive a confirmed trial date on December, 9 2025.

The couple, who are out on bail, appeared before magistrate Marehwanazvo Gofa for routine remand proceedings earlier today.

They stand accused of defrauding 13 people of US$49,240 and R195,000 through their companies Planet Africa Private Limited and Yadah Connect Private Limited in an alleged fraudulent land deal.

Magaya faces a total of 78 fraud charges, along with five additional counts of rape.
