A 64-year-old man, Masimba Rubatika has appeared in court on allegations of threatening Paul Chakangesu with a gun after making a report against him.

It is alleged that sometime in July this year, Chakangesu made a report of criminal trespass against Rubatika.

It is alleged that Rubatika met with the complainant at Leisure Centre, Chitungwiza where Rubatika produced a pistol from his car and threatened to shoot the complainant.

The court was informed that Rubatika returned the firearm to his car after the complainant had apologised.

Rubatika appeared at the Harare Magistrate's Courts charged with threats to commit murder.

He will appear in court on September 10, 2024.
