Man up for assaulting colleague over pool game

A man was arraigned before the courts after assaulting a colleague he was playing pool with following a misunderstanding.

Bridgenald Mufuka, 34, of Manyame Park in Chitungwiza, appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Courts facing assault allegations.

The State, through prosecutor Zororai Nkomo, alleges that on August 11, 2023, at around 1900 hours at Corner Mbuya Nehanda and Bute Street, Mufuka was playing pool with the complainant but they ended up not relating well.

As they played, a misunderstanding arose, and they started pushing each other.

Mufuka, allegedly pushed the complainant hard and at the same time sliding him with his legs and he fell hard on the ground and sustained a deep cut on the back on the head.

The complainant was admitted to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals

Mufuka was ordered to appear in court on September 18 for his routine remand.
