Green Ambassador at the Environment Ministry and the City of Harare Dereck Mpofu has been appointed Programmes and Communications Director at The Tree Foundation.

In a statement released yesterday by The Tree Foundation, the organisation is pleased to announce the musician as their communications Director.

“We are pleased to announce to stakeholders, partners, and members of the public that the board of trustees at the foundation, on the recommendation of its nomination committee has appointed Mr. Dereck Mpofu as The Tree Foundation Programmes and Communications Director with effect from 1 October, 2022,” reads part of the statement.

Mpofu is an Afrofusion songster, songwriter, and pantomime from Harare, Zimbabwe.
