Robert Mugabe Jr nabbed over suspected drug possession

 

Robert Mugabe Junior, the son of the late Zimbabwean leader Robert Gabriel Mugabe, was reportedly arrested in Harare on Wednesday on suspicion of drug possession.

The 33-year-old was picked up by detectives from the Drugs and Narcotics division and taken to Harare Central Police Station, sources revealed.

Officers allegedly discovered two sachets of dagga and a substance believed to be cocaine hidden among cash in his possession.

Mugabe Jr is expected to appear in court before Harare magistrates later today.

Authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the arrest.
