Rocks crowned Pro50 champions

The Southern Rocks sealed the Pro50 Championship title with a convincing eight-wicket win over the Mountaineers at Masvingo Sports Club.

Rocks produced a disciplined bowling effort to dismiss Mountaineers for 230, with key strikes from Matthew Campbell and Shelton Mazvitorera halting their momentum.

In reply, Innocent Kaia led the charge with an unbeaten 112, sharing a match-winning opening stand with Campbell as Rocks chased down the target comfortably in 40.4 overs.

The victory caps a dominant season for Rocks, completing a notable domestic double after their Logan Cup triumph.

However,  Rocks' s championship  follows The Mountaineers who  won the 2024–25 Pro50 Championship after defeating the Rhinos by 32 runs in the final
