The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA)  addressed the  reports of Sheasham Football Club’s withdrawal from the Central Region Soccer League (CRSL). The association has acknowledged receipt of correspondence regarding the matter and has since reviewed the situation.

The association emphasized that Sheasham Football Club remains an active member of the Central Region Soccer League until the issue has been amicably resolved through the proper procedures.

ZIFA  urged all parties involved to follow the established legal and procedural frameworks governing league operations.

ZIFA also reminded its regional affiliates that any grievances or disputes arising within their jurisdictions should be dealt with through the appropriate regional mechanisms. Only when all regional processes have been fully exhausted should such matters be escalated to the national association for further consideration.

Sheasham Football Club’s reported withdrawal had sparked speculation and debate within the local football community. ZIFA’s clarification now provides a formal position on the issue as the situation continues to unfold.
