Sri Lanka’s Nissanka out of ODI against Zim due to suspected Dengue infection

Sri Lanka's opening batsman, Pathum Nissanka, is set to miss the upcoming ODI series against Zimbabwe due to a suspected Dengue infection. 

According to Sri Lanka Cricket, Pathum Nissanka has been admitted to hospital for further management and will be out of the ODI series against Zimbabwe.

The unforeseen setback has prompted the team management to consider the inclusion of the talented young cricketer, Shevon Daniel, as his replacement.

The three-match ODI series, scheduled to commence today (Saturday) at R Premadasa Stadium, has taken an unexpected turn as Sri Lanka faces the challenge of reshuffling their line up in the absence of Nissanka.
