TelOne Part Ways With Saul Chaminuka

TelOne have reportedly parted ways with head coach Saul Chaminuka following the club’s elimination from the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup at the weekend.

Chaminuka’s departure comes after a difficult spell in charge of the Gweru-based side, with the coach struggling to produce consistent results in the league.

The former coach managed just three wins from the 15 league matches he was in charge of, a run that appears to have placed further pressure on his position.

TelOne’s latest setback came in the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup, where they were knocked out by Central Region Soccer League side Blanket Mine, adding to growing concerns over the team’s performances.

The club has now reportedly decided to part ways with Chaminuka ahead of their Chibuku Super Cup clash against Dynamos on Sunday.

His departure leaves TelOne searching for a new coach at a crucial stage of the season as they look to revive their campaign and improve their fortunes.
