Simba Bhora's championship win in the 2024 Zimbabwe Premier League season was a testament to the team's hard work, dedication, and strategic play. While the spotlight often shines on the goal-scorers and headline-makers, there are unsung heroes like Tichaona  Chipunza, the team's defensive link man, who played a pivotal role in the team's success.

Chipunza's role as a defensive link man was crucial in covering Simba Bhora's defense. His ability to read the game, intercept passes, and distribute the ball effectively made him a vital cog in the team's machinery.

Chipunza's impressive statistics tell the story of a player who consistently delivered on the pitch. With 3 assists in 34 games, and only 4 games missed, Chipunza was a reliable and crucial member of the Simba Bhora squad. He also played in all the Chibuku games before Ngezi Platinum eliminated the team.
