Transport Minister Felix Mhona has appealed to Zimbabweans to desist from recording videos at scenes of accidents, instead urging them to wait for proper communication from authorities. This plea comes after a devastating bus accident claimed 25 lives near Beitbridge on Thursday.

Mhona emphasized the importance of respecting the dead and avoiding actions that may cause more harm than good. He assured mourners at the government-led joint funeral service that a thorough investigation into the accident's causes would be conducted, and necessary actions would be taken.

The Minister also hinted at withdrawing the license of Urban Connect Bus Service, whose bus was involved in the fatal accident. Mhona questioned the driver's actions, saying, "Why was he racing towards the toll gate? We may have to remove them from service."
