The University of Zimbabwe  Tournament concluded with thrilling finals that showcased the exceptional talents of the participating teams. In the men's division, the UZ Wildcats emerged victorious, securing a 27-25 win over the Rhinos. The Manyame Sparrows reigned supreme in the women's division, defeating the UZ Wildcats ladies 15-9.

The road to the finals was paved with intense competition. In the women's semi-finals, UZ narrowly defeated City Stars 19-18, while the Sparrows dominated Brymaton Vikings 21-9. On the men's side, UZ overcame the Manyame Falcons 28-26, and the Rhinos defeated the Spartans 17-15.

The tournament's third-place matches were also highly competitive. The Manyame Falcons edged past the Spartans 12-9 in the men's bracket, and Brymaton Vikings secured a narrow win over City Stars 5-2 in the women's division.

Valentine Masaiti, coach of the UZ Wildcats men's team, expressed his delight at the team's victory. "This tournament was a huge success, with a record number of clubs participating. The competition was top-notch, and all teams performed admirably. Our players and managers demonstrated the highest levels of discipline and determination throughout," he said.

Alouis Nyamhanga, coach of the Manyame Sparrows, attributed their success to the team's preparation and understanding of the game. "Last year, UZ Wildcats ladies narrowly beat us, so we did our homework, and the ladies understood the assignment," He  added.
