Zesa Holdings subsidiary, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company has launched a blitz to disconnect customers whose electricity bills are not paid up, starting today.

The blitz, ZETDC said in a staetement, will cover the whole of Harare and Chitungwiza.

β€œThe exercise will cover the whole of Harare and Chitungwiza and will be carried out during the week as well as weekends,” ZETDC said in a statement.

The Zesa subsidiary advised its customers to settle their accounts in full because only fully paid-up accounts will be reconnected, adding that payment plans are not being entertained.
