Zimbabwe senior men’s football team finally get their first win after a number of disappointing campaigns.

The 1-0 win by the Warriors came in their Cosafa Cup opener against Comoros, in South Africa.

19-year-old Michael Tapera scored the lone goal to give Zimbabwe the edge over Comoros.

It comes after a disappointing campaign by the team, which saw them slump to Lesotho and South Africa, preceded by a number of draws to Rwanda and Nigeria, in their World Cup qualifying group.
