Teenage Hadebe, a 28-year-old defender for the Zimbabwe national team, has signed a one-year contract with Turkish Super Lig side Konyaspor. This marks a return to Turkey for Hadebe, who previously played for Yeni Malatyaspor before his stint in Major League Soccer with the Houston Dynamo.
Hadebe joins Konyaspor after leaving the Dynamo at the end of 2023. He brings experience from his previous seasons in Turkey and South Africa with Kaizer Chiefs.
Konyaspor, currently struggling in 19th place, hopes Hadebe's defensive prowess will bolster their backline. The club officially welcomed Hadebe, stating their excitement for his contributions.
