… as diesel price falls, petrol in marginal increase

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority has announced fuel price adjustments effective June 4 in which the cost of diesel has fallen from US$1.66 to U$1.61 per litre.
In a statement, Zera said the petrol price, which was US$1.58 per litre has been pegged at US$1.59 per litre.
The ZiG prices of the two products are now ZiG21.41 for diesel and ZiG21.19 for petrol.
Zera also added in the same statement that the blending ratio remains unchanged at E20.
“The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio remains at E20. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations,” Zera said.
