Mobishop's 263 Connect to host top Indian scholarship consultant

A Zimbabwean organisation will be hosting of Global Arcus, one of the biggest and renowned academic consultancy in India to visit high schools in Harare to talk about drugs from June 8 to 13

This was revealed in interview by founder of Mobishop Two Six Three Connect, Tendai Davy Makiwa who said preparations for hosting Global Arcus director Miss Pragati Srivastava and her delegation under the 263 Hub initiative are going well.

“We saw it fit to invite Global Arcus so that our youths can get first-hand information from the visiting delegation. The Indian delegation will be visiting high schools mainly in Harare educating youth on dangers of drug and substance abuse which has become a cause for concern,” said Makiwa.

263 hub was founded in of August 2023 under the Mobishop Two Six Three Connect and is an interactive platform that seeks to promote and empower youths of Zimbabwe through interconnected synergies, collaborations, scholarships, mould small to medium Enterprises and individuals into successful and bigger brands with already established local markets mostly amongst the youth.

Makiwa said the idea behind the 263 hub is to create a platform for all youth of Zimbabwe across all provinces, all walks of life  to actively and collectively participate in the sustainable use of natural resources , technology  and social media for wealth creation , bringing solutions to the communities , empowering the youths .

“A dynamic and effective youth participation in economic, socio political activities is a fundamental pillar of Zimbabwe Vision 2030 of becoming an upper middle income society. The youth Hub aims to provide quality operations that ensures equal access to information and opportunities for all youth,” said Makiwa.

The 263 Hub which works with all ministries aims to mainstream youth issues to constructively and sustainably tackle the causative factors of societal problems like high crime rates, unplanned early parenthood, STIs, impact of climate change and poor levels of food security through innovation and participation in bringing solutions to current and potential problems in Zimbabwe.
