Crowhill Farm Land Scam Victims Seek Justice Against Notorious Couple

Victims of an alleged land scam at Crowhill Farm are demanding justice after they say they were swindled by a couple with a history of fraud. Florence and Felix Pambukani are accused of duping over 200 people seeking land by selling them illegal plots at Crowhill Farm.

This isn't the Pambukani's first run-in with the law. Fearing retaliation, some victims spoke on condition of anonymity, revealing the couple's past jail sentence for fraud and their alleged use of violence to silence opposition. The victims are seeking the return of their money and the imprisonment of the Pambukanis.

"I'm scared for my life," said one victim. "They're known for hiring thugs and threatening anyone who questions them. I just want my money back. I have nowhere else to go."

The modus operandi appears to be a pattern. The Pambukanis are accused of attempting similar land grabs at Wakefield Farm and were allegedly involved in the 2010 death of a Scotsdale Farm owner following a violent takeover attempt.

Efforts to reach the Pambukanis for comment were unsuccessful, with their phones unreachable at the time of publication.

This follows a recent High Court eviction order for illegal settlers on Crowhill Estate, part of Crowhill Farm. The eviction, mandated in 2021, was finally carried out last month after the Pambukanis' attempts to block it failed.

Crowhill Estate lawyer, Mr. Timon Tabana, representing the owners, confirmed these developments. The Pambukanis initially filed a court challenge to the eviction but withdrew it upon realizing their case held no merit.

"They tried to have the eviction order overturned, but it was too late," said Tabana. "They then attempted to block the eviction itself, but again withdrew the application at the hearing. The court can't intervene in something that's already happened."
