A Nyanga drug dealer’s luck ran out when police raided his premises and found him in the act of packaging dagga into market ready sachets.
Lawrence Nyamudeza, 26, appeared in the Nyanga Magistrate Court this past Friday on charges of unlawful possession of dangerous drugs.
The state alleged that on July 3, 2024 at around 1200 hours the police received a tip-off and went to Udinge Village, Chief Saunyama.
There they found Nyamudeza in his bedroom packing dagga into sachets.
They arrested the accused and seized 48 sachets.
Nyamudeza was convicted and sentenced to 11 months imprisonment of which six months were suspended.
